The Review/Journal reports that Park Place (soon to be Caesars) will bid for the 10th Illinois license in the hands of the bankrupt Emerald Casino. Given the animosity the govenor and some legislators have towards gambling one might why anyone would want to invest in Illinos gambling but some smarter than me seem to want to do so. E.g., Harrahs and others are bidding for the license.
