I had a very similar experience to Travis in Borgata. One day the maid took all our towels and left none. When we got back to the room at 4 AM, we had to call up for towels! Also, the concierge made us a reservation at the Homestead Steak House, and when we got there, they had no record of it. We got in, but had to wait 40 minutes past our alleged reservation. The food was great, but the prices were, well, shocking, and the service in the restaurant wasn't as good as it should be at these levels. The waiter made some mistakes. When you get a slot card, they ask you for a pin number you can use to access your info and comps. Well, at the end of my stay, I tried, and the computer kept telling me "incorrect pin". I can only figure that they entered it wrong. On the plus side, the place is beautiful, there's some great art work here, the poker room is great, there are $1 6-9 video poker machines just like Vegas, and I loved the TVs in the elevators. But, the abysmal service had me tearing my hair out. Oh, yeah, we went down to the pool one day, and although no one told us, it was closed. At these prices, you can't treat people like this, and expect them to come back. I won't be.
