Here's the basic rundown. Prodigy got bought out by SBC. Later SBC merged the Internet portion to make SBC Yahoo! Dial. That's who owns us now. There is no Prodigy, not even on paper anymore as far as I can tell.

I suppose you are calling the 800 number, where someone reads from a script? Keep after them, someone has to know. I had my comped account canceled after submitting everything to two different sources (who requested it) and when I called, they didn't even know that the department I was in, even existed. I gave the "support" person phone numbers, titles and everything, but they were stumped.

Best part of a National dialup is that you can call from just about anywhere. Can't do that with DSL or Cable. lol But if I had the ability and finances I'd keep Prodigy for my mailbox and web pages and use DSL or RR.

Accounting from Prodigy gave everything to SBC at the begining of the year. Different location, different people. (from Austin to St. Louis) Maybe they split that off again when they shut down most of the Communities last month?

There was a big clean-up last Friday. Web pages that haad been in use for years on Prodigy, suddenly vanished.

If you go back and look at old messages from me, you'll notice most of the images have vanished.
