This is an intersting thread...in the UK where we have lots of amusement arcades at lots of seaside resorts, and they often seem to use the names of famous casinos. In Southend (close to Westcliff which is where my nearest casinos are based, as many people know) there are arcades called Golden Nugget, New York New York, Caesars Palace and several more (I'll check when I'm next down there). I don't know if the casinos are aware of this, whether they even care or whether the use of the name without any advertised connection (and they don't seem to use similar fonts or logos) means there is no case for infringement.
I'll post some pictures if I get a chance - it should be amusing to see all the names lined up, occupying a total space that would probably fit inside any one of the 'real' casinos!
