Someone told me to boil it in hot water, which I did. It got the acrylic off but left a dull finish where the coin wasn't covered by the resin. Now I need to see if I can bring back the shine. The other side is in great condition. This coin seems heavier than a typical dollar token. Wonder why? And why would they put $1,000 on it and then have "no cash value" on the other side. I'll have to take a trip out there and ask them. Also need to see if any of those $5 BJ chips have surfaced.
