You have certainly come to the right place. I do not know if that is an answered question in Will Knight's Newbie FAQ, but since you asked it, I suspect that it will soon be there.
The basic answer is....It depends. In most cases, a chip value will be about 20 % of very goos condition value. HOWEVER, if all known examples are cancelled, then value could be 90%. However, if thousands of examples exist, then it can drop to 10% (or less).
