I list them as grey & beige. Sometimes I see variants of others in the Nevada & Diecar mold & some could be called cream. What do you collectors out there feel these are?
Problem with old listings in Chip Rack is years ago I used to send Allan color copies. I am sure many of us did. The store I went to copy later got new machines & colors might of come out different, or more realistic. Back in the old days- 10 years ago, not nearly everyone had a scanner. Old scanners probably produce different colors too. I took pictures of as many chips as possible for our US Casino Chip Price Guide. We had to use the same camera & light set up to be consistent. We will continue this too. I have plans to go visit several collections this summer & shoot away. I tried also to look at as many chips as I could to verify these colors. It was a challenge. Get a room of people & you will get a bunch of answers. Remember the debate on Jill's Las Vegas club .10 find??? I am sure many of you do. Different opinions for months.
Take a dirty chip & clean it & you will have a different color under all that dirt especially on the beige to cream colors. Men & women see colors different too. Throw all this together & we will never really be correct on many colors as some are so close.
Anyone want to talk about Dunes Sultan roulettes?
