Yes I agree. I tried to send an alert to ebay on a nasty Question For Seller. (I don't mean just rude, I can hit the delete key, it was vulgar and threatening) So I used the usual Alert@ you know where. It bounced back.

You have to go through pages and pages of FAQs and what is the problem and why do you want to contact us, and here's the BB and a live chat... sheesh.

Nothing like making it so hard that people won't bother.
