I was just scanning some of my treasures and I noticed that the Smith's Northshore Club chips are exactly aligned head-to-foot - just like a coin. Since these are Nevada mold chips I got to wondering if that is the way they are supposed to be or are these fakes. I recall some discussion about some of the Borland chips being painstakingly aligned but I can't remember which way they were aligned. Most of the chips don't seem to have any alignment so it surprised me to see that these are aligned. I can't imagine anyone would make fakes of such a common chip - but then maybe that's why they are so common...
