Today I had to meet with a Postal Inspector and prior to us getting to the business at hand we were chatting and my chip collecting came up and he told me of a case he came across.

It was actually a Canadian matter which he came across while seperately investigating a US matter.

It seems the target of his investigation had previously been caught in Canada when he contacted a French Chip Manufacturer and ordered a large quantity of chips used at one of the Canadian Casinos, he pretended to actually be from the casino had the bill sent to the casino, but requested delivery to another address.

I wonder if this scam has actually ever been pulled off successfully?
