Re: LOTS OF CHIP I.D. NEEDED
In Response To: LOTS OF CHIP I.D. NEEDED ()

The two Vernon Country Club chips are probably from an illegal club in Chicago in the fifties, Top. TGT says they used small-key molds.

The black chip with the horseshoe and 'good luck' has been attributed to Harold's Gun Club in Nevada, but not everyone agrees with that.

I can't make out the chip with the cord mold.

If the dark hub-mold chip has a CC on it, it could be from Massillon, OH. TGT shows a CC Hub-mold chip shipped to Wm E. Spencer in 1942. However, CC is a pretty common monogram, so it could be anything (lots of country clubs <g>).

TGT also lists a plain mold with a linked G L. Care to share with us how you attribute these to Cuba? Not saying they're not; just like to hear more history.
