Re: AC question
In Response To: AC question ()

I am no expert, but I have been there to play poker a number of times. There are a number of casinos with poker rooms. I would go to pokerpages.com and look at the poker directory. Type in Atlantic City in the city area.

The rooms are as follows: Trump Taj Mahal, Tropicana, Sands, Bally's, Harrah's and now the Borgata. The Borgata is the nicest (very roomy), the Taj is still nice and much larger. I used to like the room at the Trop, but service has gone down, and 60 of their employees went to the Borgata. I think the rooms at the Sands, Bally's and Harrah's are essentially stud only. They have 2-4 hold 'em at the trop and the taj. They have 3-6 at the Borgata. Be advised that Atlantic City players play differently than Vegas or LA players. They are pretty loose before the flop, but are a bit tighter after. In all, the games are fun, and beatable (although I am far from a great player myself).

If you are going North afterwards, both Connecticut native american casinos (Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods) have very nice poker rooms with 2-4 hold 'em and up).

If you have further questions, e-mail me. I will help out as best I can.
