Having been a collector of many different things for over 25 years, I agree with you John 100%.
Only something as crazy as Beanie babys will the market fall completely. When you can now buy Princess for $6.99 and people paid $600 for a slightly different version, the public will wake up. I must admit that many dealers have made tons of money milking this craze.
Chips, you cant get them all past or present, so you collect what you want and like.
