I snuck this picture while nobody was looking.
The Borgata is beautiful. It is exactly what Atlantic City needed. The best feature is that the Boyd people placed a high regard on training their staff to be customer oriented. They taught the staff to be friendly and helpful while trying to engage the customers in pleasant conversations if the customer wishes. The entire staff was very professional during what must have been a nerve racking opening holiday weekend with a packed house at most hours of the day. Of course, this is just my opinion but I think that the other casinos in town could learn a thing or two or eighty from them. Word has it that the Borgata will host a World Poker Tour event this year and the Taj has already moved their USPC tournament to the begining of Sept. to get the jump on them. Also, the Sands will be holding a major poker tournament that will also have a $10,000 championship to go along with the other two $10,000 championships at the Taj and Borgata. It's a hell of a time to be a poker player in AC.
