Much to do about nothing

As a retailer/ wholesaler or ???, my opinion is that the seller of any product or service has a right to set the 'conditions of sale'.
The buyer should read the 'conditions of sale' thoroughly and if acceptable buy, bid or contract for that service.
If not acceptable, the buyer can select an alternate source for the item or forego the purchase.
Personally, I have passed on auctions where shipping/insurance or related charges were excessive. In other situations, I have 'bit the bullet' because I really wanted the item. I just mentally included the related charges as part of the purchase price.
In my opinion, I do not believe that we, as hobbiests, should be trying to regulate how other dealers and hobbiests conduct their transactions.
If we are not involved in the transaction, we should leave it that way.
Just my opinion!!!
