Politely inform this person the chips he wanted are $65.00 as you stated in your E-mails.

You will hold the 58.00 check until the $7.00 check arrives.

As soon as both checks clear you will send the chips as agreed.

If the person refuses, send his original check back along with a bill for the cost of postage and the price of an envelope. Ok, the might be a bit extreme. For the most part I am kidding about the bill. Depends on how much hassle that person is giving you. It's not like you can expect to collect on the bill. But, maybe it will make him think twice.
