You asked:
Was the auction number (at the top center of the projected page) easily readable? I don't know, as I tracked the auction by the image being shown.
Was the chip large enough to view? Yes!
Did the chip image entice you to bid on the lot? Actualy, yes it did. The catalogue (in B/W) does not do justice to some of the chips. I never got a good chance to review the lots, so having the color images displayed was of great importance to me and I did make bids based on the projected image.
Did the image help at all? Yes, as stated above.
Would you like to see this type of presentation in future auctions? Yes, and it seems like a standard now!
Or??? You and I already talked about the presentation (pros and cons) and we are of like minds that when it comes to the multi-chip lots, PowerPoint can be used to rotate through all of the offerings AND, it was was your intent to do so, but more time was needed with the scans.
It would be helpful to position the screen more centerstage, but if that does not happen, then I can simply re-position myself (just as long as I can keep Kruse's attention!).
I know that the file is some 50 MBs, but is it possible to burn a CD (or two) of the presentation and place it with the file copies of the auction guides that go to the Club's Librarian (Bob Pardue)?
Bottom line....It was excellent and I look forward to another presentation next year.
