Ah... welcome to the world of Pai Gow Poker.

Some casinos will allow you to play multiple hands of cards (placing bets on multiple hands). You complete one hand and then you do the second.

Other casinos will allow you to bet on a second hand by putting down at bet and having the dealer set the hand as "house way". They have set rules of how to split pairs, when do I use a straight, flush, etc. They will use this marker to show the cameras that this one is being set the house way so when it is time to check the hand it is set by the dealer.
