The convention was absolutely incredible and it was SO much more fun being a member rather than a dealer this year.

Jim Steffner, all the volunteers and officers are to be thanked but there was one constant as I cruised the aisles these past three days...

Ralph was at the membership table every time I looked. As a club, we are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and tireless officer like him. Ask Ralph how much he enjoyed this years show or how many chips he added to his collection and I'd bet the answer is "not much" and "none". Yet ask him in retrospect if he'd do all over again and the answer would be a resounding "YES!".

Ralph, you took way too much heat around election time. Even though I voted for you, told every one that would listen that you were my candidate of choice and deep down I knew you would win, I didn't publicly defend you on this board when the heat was on. For that I apologize.

However, now I'm standing up and not only thanking you for all that you do for our club but also for doing it with a smile on your face and for the love of the hobby that you have in your heart.

I don't care what anybody says about you Ralph you're OK with me. I'm proud to call you and Rona friends and I'm happy to be in a club that is being guided by such a great group of dedicated officers.
