No on inlayed counterfits.
Inlays are put on by a manufacturer. I believe the manufacturer was above helping him.
Borlands inlays with the opening and closing dates fool a lot of newbies but they are NOT counterfits and were never meant to be.
Osborne is another story for another day. He actually got the manufacturers to participate in his counterfits. I have copies of faked orders on the Eddie's chips. Herz has a good story on the Osbourne's in the club mag a few issues back. It can be obtained from the club library.
