Every chip issued has a limit... otherwise chip manufacturers would be cranking out the same chip night and day. Some chips are imprinted with what that limit number is ... others are not.

I believe that most chippers use the generic term "LE" on virtually every commemorative chip that is issued. I know that I tend to do so.
