Ah...good point Pete...something I did not stop to consider in my late night stupor.
However I haven't seen this chip go for that much in recent auctions. If I remember correctly, it has been selling for between $100-150. Of course we don't know what the reserve is on the chip...so it seems the seller may be putting that insurance amount based on book (replacement) value opposed to the actual selling price.
Chances are I would not have been so shocked if the shipping charges had been properly divided on the auction..."x" amount for S&H, "x" amount for insurance.
