I agree with your suggestions. But,any association is part of the society.Why would be different?
For me the problem of any hobby is when someone beggins to produce things only for collectors and not for the right use.
Some years ago lots of peopple, like me, stop collecting stamps, when some countries(??) beggins
to issue long sets of stamps that never were used in post.
For me real chips are those that are issued for use on the tables.
What will kill the hobby is the ambition of some casinos issuing lots of chips (some with high value) that never will go to the tables.Some limited editions...some speculation...
In the last months we could see in the board lots of people selling their chips.
Is that a sign?
