The term guinea tee was not used in a derogatory way in the Brooklyn I grew up in. I admit that the word guinea was a minor slur but "guinea tee" was used pretty much universally in a non derogatory way to refer to sleeveless undershirts. A perfect example of a guinea tee was what Sly Stallone wore in the first Rocky.

Then again I may be biased as I am just not that sensitive (read: politically correct)

BTW, does anyone ever consider the meaning of the term "Paddy Wagon". We paddys are not all crooks, you know.
