A couple months back while playing craps at Ameristar here in Kansas City, I was preparing to leave the table and was getting my chips "colored" up. The dealer scratched the $100 chips with his fingernail. I had seen him do that earlier with another player with other $100 chips as well. I asked him what that was for and he said he was making sure no paint was coming off...

Seemed to me that maybe they had or were having a problem with chips getting painted black??? Made me wonder if they were having a counterfeit problem themselves or a security problems with thier $100 chips...
