The Indy Racing League returns to Texas Motor Speedway, in Ft Worth, Saturday night. The person who correctly guesses where A J Foyt IV, grandson on the legendary A J Foyt II, finishes in the 22 car field, will win this Obs. In 1997, IRL ran its' first night time race, at TMS. The United States Auto Club(USAC) blew the scoring, and A J Foyt's drivers, Billy Boat and Davey Hamilton finished 1-2. As they were celebrating in the winner's circle, Arie Luyendyk charged into victory lane, claiming he had won the race, and rightly so. The "usually mild-mannered" A J Foyt , took exception to the disruption, and knocked Arie down. The next day, Luyendyk was declared the winner, giving him back-to-back wins, with the Indy 500 two weeks earlier, and USAC was fired by the IRL. But A J still has the trophy.
