I was just there Terry!

I spent 7 hours on standby at O'Hare Monday after getting stuck in a gridlock trafic jam around a road closure (still could've made my flight) and getting dropped off at the wrong terminal by the rental car shuttle bus (it was too late then.)

I took a wrong turn last Thursday trying to get from O'Hare to Joliet and ended up taking a four hour tour of lesser known Chicago neighborhoods (got wrong directions four different times, so I quit asking.)

Got to watch tornadoes dancing around Route 66 Raceway Friday night, that was a little scary, then watched a guy running across the drag strip get hit by a safety truck Saturday afternoon.

....it was a weird weekend.

I'm flying to Minneapolis tomorrow night, will be in the Brainerd lakes region for the weekend. I love it up there!
