I was just looking at the perspective of a seller that may sell many items a day. 50 or more. Think about having to leave feedback for each and everyone of those transactions. It would be terribly time consuming.

I personally have left feedback for everyone I have ever done a transaction with on Ebay. I do believe as you say. "... it is PART of doing business.

But, if a seller doesn't post feedback for me, I make the request. If nothing still happens I drop the sbuject.

Feedback is not mandatory. No matter how much you, I, or anyone else here believes it should be.
