Are you referring to people intent on committing criminal acts hiding their identities? Are you referring to criminals who assume and use multiple identities? ...I don't think so.

If you think that hiding your identity on a hobby related message board is necessary to keep yourself safe from sociopaths in our society, I feel sorry for you. I really do. This forum has been instrumental in my meeting hundreds of people through the years, establishing many life-long friendships. ...all, and I do mean all, formulated with an initial mutual trust by everyone involved to at least know your name.
