I have been one of the judges every year since I joined. I enjoy looking at all the chips I can find for the year past. I thought looking at/feeling/finding casino collectibles was what the hobby is all about.

The club does most of the nomination work by printing up a nomination ballot. Almost anyone is able to make at least one nomination of at least one category. The obvious result for this tiny effort is that they would be ably to have a part in chosing the winners. Seems fun to me.
