Art and I have been emailing back and forth for a couple of weeks now. He originally started emailing me with beginners questions when he first started buying chips about a week or two ago.

Art purchased some chip lots on eBay - I believe a total of about 240 chips for $725. Art actually asked for opinions on The Chipboard before purchasing a couple of these lots to get experienced opinions as to whether he was getting a good deal or not (and I think everyone confirmed that the prices he was considering paying were reasonable).

Now, after a couple of weeks, Art has decided that this hobby isn't for him, for whatever reason, and is simply trying to recoup some of the money he spent (apparently, after not getting much positive response to his first posts, he's now only hoping to get $525 of the $725 he spent).

Again, I don't actually know Art, but this is what I've witnessed via the board and email, and I think Art is on the level - for whatever my opinion is worth.
