Lord - this has been two of the roughest days in my life
The good news... is I just bought my house
The bad news is I came so close to be unemployed this afternoon (two hour yelling match with my boss of 13 years) that it took a lot of the joy out of the fact that I found a place up here. (actually I'll be in Prescott Valley but that's close enough )
I quit my job twice this afternoon (toe-to-toe at that). There's a part of me that wished he had let me quit. Even implored him to fire me... and we could just let it go. I have to admit, I'd love the kind of job one can leave at the office at 5 pm.
For the record, I'm still employed (dangit )
Naaaawww... truth is... I'm darn lucky to have the job I do (and extremely grateful after this afternoon to still have it )
Anyway - if you're waiting for scans, chips or email from me... I'll get back to you ASAP!
TONIGHT - I think I'm going to bed and forget work, homes, chips, packing, laundry and everything else.
Am excited about the new house but STILL DON'T HAVE MAILBOX (I need a permit A permit for a mailbox??????? Lord give me strength )
IF I get a mailbox (ever) then I can give out my address... Some of you have heard my "Mailbox dilemna"... but a word of wisdom to others...
IF YOU BUY A NEW HOUSE (as in new construction)and IT DOES NOT HAVE A MAILBOX... PUT THAT IN YOUR DANG OFFER. : "Seller to install mailbox"
Of course, be prepared to be turned down and watch the Seller accept the person with no money, no down and no letter from mortgage company before they'd agree to THAT
Wilson - Jim and a few others... I haven't forgotten about you! Honest... but I could use two valium (but am settling for a Slurpee ) and nothing more to process for the next 12 hours except a bad sitcom and fluffy pillows
Thanks for your patience... and "big move is next!" This could be my last good night of sleep until June
