Did you actually read this thread, or were you just bored and felt like jumping in with something mindless?
My post was a response to the following statement by Carl:
"....but I for one think the same as you do, anything that is posted on the Internet becomes "Public Domain"."
I have no idea how you interpreted my comment to which you responded as an implication that chip collectors could claim ownership of the images in their scans. The term "public domain" implies that a person or entity can not claim ownership of a product (scan), and I was merely using that example to illustrate that Carl's statement could not be further from the truth.
Hope that clears it up for you, and that you no longer find my post "rediculous".
