ok - what's the mold on these navy blue roulettes? How about the reds next to them?
Can anyone tell or enhance the scan to bring it out? I want to know I have already tried to enlarge, enhance and manipulate the scan but this ain't no CSI.
Here's some choices:
A. H&C (CJ) : consistant with T-alignment but not seen with that particular "off-shade" blue inlay
B. LKey: are NOT consistant with T-alignment - especially with blue inlay. I could be wrong, but the only Tahoe LKEY I've seen with the T-alignment is the light brown inlay with brown star. Even the older green and red inlays aren't T-aligned... not in LKEYS.
C. Plain molds (this is what has me ALL excited! : Are these plain molds???
The plain mold roulettes have this particular off-color pale blue inlay and are T-aligned.
And if they ARE plain molds... based on inlay - what about the reds??? (these were known to have been delivered in 6 colors although I don't know of anyone who has been any color but blue "off paper". And only 3 blues (maybe 4) have been accounted for and known to be in collections. I have one, Doc M has one (I think?) and Rich Hanover has one (which was Joe Shaws)
So yes - OF COURSE I called the seller.
He wasn't home (but taking his 87 year old mom to the ER.)
His wife was very nice but doesn't know anything about chips. And being the table isn't actually "there", I could not have her physically examine and describe the chips (dangit!!!)
If anyone on this board buys that table (someone ppppplease buy the table ) and IF those ARE indeed plain mold Harrah's roulettes - PLEEEEEEEEEASE PLEEEEEEEEASE do one thing for me... if you ever decide to try to extract the
chips, "chip me out" a red!
