This has nothing to do with the Triple Crown, but the man who bred the winner of the 1954 Kentucky Derby, the horse was Determine, was an orthopedic surgeon. His name was Eslie Asbury. He operated on my fallen arches and fixed them. My dad gave my mom a hard time because she took me to a "horse " doctor. This is my brush with fame.
