Ted,
I guess the hatchet has at least been partially burried between Pete and I. Here is our conversation by email.
"Pete,
I guess it isn't wasn't so much a bad scan but how it was sized etc. It could barely be seen and wasn't worth trying to show an example.
I don't think I will be going to anymore club meetings nor the convention. There seems to be two extremes. Their are the true collectors that only want/need one chip of each new issue. This group hates the commercial chippers trying to order/fill chip orders for their customers. IMO they want casino chip collecting to be a pure hobby and they don't want the big websites buying up all the chips as they are issued.
The other group is the Ultra business people. Looking at chipping as a business and defending it as such.
I don't really fall into either categorie. While I feel for the true collectors on not being able to get a new chip release, I can see the Business websites mainly trying to serve their customers. I figured I would share tip/information/scans with everyone as I am a very new and a small chip source.
I am sorry that you and others got upset the last 24 hours. I do not steal music with Napster on the Internet as I feel that is wrong. I do not have any pirated software on my Dell computer. I do not break laws, even if I know I will not be punished for it.
Pete, I think I will post your email to me and my email to you so that the hatchet will be burried. No doubt others will take up the banner, but IMO we have each stated our thoughts.
Sincerly,
Byron Allis

Byron,
Call my scans and my work bad (had to change from the S word to post) if you want - I still
take pride in what I do.
Now you know how I feel about taking my scans - you
could have just asked in the first place.
That is what people do when they would like to use
something.
Anyway - No hard feelings and hope to meet you at
the convention,
Pete"
