Not as silly as it seems, but it fits the case in my view. I bought the steak, I cooked it, I knew of my condition, I ate it... so it's the stores fault for selling it to me.
We are supposed to have the freedom to make choices. We must also be responsible for our own choices.
If the casino went to his house and dragged the guy in, to play, I'd understand, but he is the only one who drove himself there, put the money in, pulled the handle and lost his money. Now he wants to blame someone else?
If more cases like this got thrown out before being heard, the courts would have more time to deal with real issues.
