Travis, you could throw a deck out in the ally, pick it up, and have this happen. The odds of it happening are the same everytime.
The SM machines are the best possible shuffle.
Even A good poker dealer that deals a busy room for 8 hours tends to clump the deck more and more towards the end of the shift. A bad poker dealer clumps it from the 1st hand he deals to the last hand he deals.
The machines take the clumping out of the situation for the entire shift. They also take the dealer out of being accused of setting up a hand, which most dealers wouldn't know how to anyway.
The last of the concrete cutting at the Palms is being done as I type. Our machines will be operating by 10AM tomorrow.
