A good question. I'd like to see more of this on the board. Useful, truthful info ! 3 different events happened: 1st, Chip Chat auctioned off a Rosen chip for over $400, showing a new, greater demand for these over 50yr old chips; 2nd, Dean Clark found a small hoard of mixed chips from a former T-Bird employee and reported them first on this board and offered them for a giveaway price; then his Ebay auctions tapped the huge unfilled demand for these chips setting new price records; 3rd, Pete Rizzo found another hoard from another old-timer---independent of Dean and unknown to Dean. With 10,000 plus collectors out there now, instead of the 1,000 the last time these chips were available, prices boomed. It's only the beginning for this set of a Classic logo and historical names on each chip. Get in now, in 10 years they'll be a showpiece in your collection. There is a someone who can provide a lot of history on the chips and names...I'll ask him.
