Not much to add to Paul's observations. 68 miles of good road from I-80 and a good overnight casino/gambling stop on a trip. I've stayed at Casino 93 and Horseshu, neither the bargains you get at Reno or Laughlin but not gouge rates either. Cactus Petes is the "big city" type of casino, Casino 93 is smaller and Horseshu is umm, quaint. A few slot houses in town also. Where to eat? Let us know! It's a tiny town and just serves the gamblers from Boise, Twin Falls and other Idaho towns (not all ID. towns are on maps either!) and everyone seems happy with their slice of the gaming pie so only expect "adequate" food facilities. The casinos are fun and friendly though. Its worthwhile to poke around Wells when you cut off from I-80. Take a pic of the abandoned Chinatown casino in Wells for Pam G. and I while you're there, we didn't and wish we had.
