Then there was the never before experience I was able to add to my list of casino firsts. I actually ate dinner at the blackjack table while playing. To me, this was one of the coolest things I have done in a long, long time.

I was playing at the casino along with two of my colleagues from work. We had been playing No Bust blackjack and realized that it was 9:30 pm and we hadn't eaten dinner yet. I made the comment, that we should wrap and go into the restaraunt before they close the kitchen. Thats when the dealer said to me: You're hungry? Let me get you a menu! She signaled to one of the employees who quickly came over and asked if we knew what we wanted or if we needed menues. After asking him what was good, without hesitation he answered back The Steaks! So I ordered for all three of us. Three of the Steaks it is! He took the essential details and left. Fifteen minutes later he returns with oak rolling tables with our dinners. Right There In The Casino...at the Tables!!!!

And the icing on the cake was he was absolutely right, the steaks were great. So was the baked potato, green beans, salad and homemade lentil soup. Below is Dan seated and eating on the left, and me seated at the BJ table right behind him. When the bill came, the three dinners after tax came to $15.75.
