There was a gentleman that posted on this board a couple of years ago that was looking for a chip to this casino. When I emailed him to question him about it, he said that he worked in this casino many years ago, and that it was near the American embassy in Athens, hence the USD currency. For what it's worth, I have several examples of the $1 chip, each with a different color hotstamp:red, white, black, green, etc.
