I was digging through some old city directories and phone books trying to tie a date to when the Silver Slipper Club was open in Newport. It was 1960. But I was always led to believe that the Stardust Club also operated at the same address, 613 Monmouth St. however, I was not able to find the Stardust listed at that address. Does anyone have something printed that shows that...A matchbook, etc. I did find a listing in the 1965 phonebook for A Stardust Club at 2nd & York. Is that the Stardust we all have chips from?
