VENTING!!
I got this email a little while ago:
"i sent your pkg. today &i hope you like it. if you are satisfied with it &would be kind enough to post feedback for me on ebay, i will return the favor promptly"
It irritates the HECK out of me when sellers tell me I have to post feedback FIRST!!! grrrrrrr.....
As the buyer, I HAVE to complete my part of the transaction first (send the payment). Only after my part is done, does the seller do anything (send the merchandise)....and at that point, the seller should leave feedback. Whether I like the item has NOTHING to do with whether I completed my part of the transaction promptly.
I emailed the seller back to say I was glad she was satisfied with my part of the transaction and I'd appreciate positive feedback. When I received the item, I was sure I'd be able to leave feedback for her.
Heard back from her, and her "routine" is to wait until she receives positive feedback, so she knows an auction is truly complete, and she knows the customer is satisfied, THEN she'll leave feedback.
Soooo...I emailed back to her, and explained my philosophy on feedback. I told her that I'd like to leave her positive feedback, but if she isn't willing to change her "routine", I guess we aren't going to be exchanging feedback!
Then I came here and Vented!
And I'm feeling much better thanks for "listening"!
NOTE: If a seller doesn't tell me that I have to be the first to leave feedback, I'll do it (don't like to, but am willing to)
