If you were an employee of Lincoln Fitzgerald and did well and liked your job, he was a wonderful guy to work for. If you were just punching a time clock and collecting a paycheck you could expect a cold, cold sholder. As far as I know, Fitzgerald ran a square store despite his Purple Gang association and I imagine that having a joint where the employees were stealing would be more than he would tolerate!
