It seems reasonable to think that anything that is "shipped" was sent in a ship.

If it went on a truck, it was trucked. If it went by plane, it was flown. If it went by car, it was driven....so if it was shipped, it must have gone on a ship!!!

Right?

(Then again....who said the English language is reasonable? )
