I have straighted out warped chips with an old forced air film dryer we have in the photo darkroom. First I put down a flat ceramic tile then a peice of paper , then on top of that the bent chip then another peice of paper then a few more tiles.....But here's an important thing...I put three sets of spacers around the chip so that it won't get flattened beyond it's original thickness. A penny on top of a quarter is a good match for thickness. Then I turn it on and let the hot air heat things up. I then add more weight on top. The air is never too hot to melt the chip and the spacers never let the chip get crushed. I have fixed some pretty awful looking chips and I couldn't even tell they were bent . I've only done this with old hotstamped chips. I don't think I would try it on a chip with an inlay.
