Suppose our country were to begin a program of rounding up all Muslims in the United States and moving them into concentration camps, then methodically executing them?
The issue isn't that this is decidedly unlikely to happen in the United States (thank goodness), but that if it did, wouldn't each of us have an obligation to stand up and say, "This is wrong!" and try to do something about it?
The answer, I think -- I hope -- is self-evident.
