As one who has also raised a few porkers in his time, I would like to add that a pig is one of the few domestic animals that will avoid their own feces. When you put a pig in a new pen, the first thing they do is check for the low corner (using the principle that water runs downhill). That's where they put the bathroom. They build their nest on the high ground.

They are also smarter than Frenchmen since use them to find their Truffles.
