At least that is how the seller in this eBay auction is describing this chip. Always wanting to own a "rare" chip from my home state, I thought I better check this out, so I asked the seller this question:
"Greetings:
Nice chip - just exactly what makes it "rare"?
Lee"
The answer I received:
"RARE,BECAUSE OF ITS ORIGIN."
I then asked:
"You mean chips from Prior Lake, Minnesota are rare? Or, is any chip from Mystic Lake Casino rare? Please advise. Thank you."
The answer:
"YES,I BELIEVE SO"
Well, by golly, I guess I can now bid on a "rare" chip with that great assurance directly from the seller! My question for readers of The Chip Board: Has anyone ever figured out the percentage of chips listed on eBay that are claimed to be "rare", etc.?
